I know it's a bit early, and it's definitely not general art discussion, but just wanted to say - hope y'all have a great New Year, all the best to every one of you! It's been a funny old year for me this year - down at the start then ending on a massive high. Thought I was going to be a full-time artist and that's gone sideways, but in the best way possible. If 2019 continues the upward trajectory of the last few months, it's gonna be a good 'un :) Cheers and all the best, Anth.
Yes...i shall be tied up at the time so happy new year one and all. David
Happy New Year and a creative 2019 to you all, including the POL team.

Morning, and a Happy New Year from me too
Add my best wishes to all too please.
A very happy new year to you all. I had a terrible bug over Christmas and a sober new year. Didn't even crack the bubbly at midnight because I fell asleep. LOL Feel okay today, so a wee dram might just do the trick. *smile* Bri
Cheers, Margaret! Bri
Happy New Year to everyone. Have an artistic one :) Nothing worse than falling under the weather at a time when enjoyment is thenameofthegame. Good to read you are feeling better, Bri, enjoy that dram, I'm doing the same, right now. Oh, Jen, that is so sad, I do hope everything goes well for Nelly. I've crossed everything. Please keep us updated. (((((Jen, Nell and family)))))

Best of luck Jen - I have a friend whose elderly dog lost the use of his back legs; he was fitted with a cradle and set of wheels, which gave him several more years of active life. In his case, the paralysis was permanent and had followed on from the effects of major surgery after the silly old devil ran into a car and came off worse. With any luck, they'll be able to restore your dog's mobility; I know there'll be big decisions to make if they can't, but I can only tell you that in the case to which I refer, it did seem that the support provided was worth doing. Another of our friends, Diana, who used to post here as Norder, has problems too with a much loved dog who is presently very ill. Dogs seem to be rather good at falling ill just after Christmas - 30 plus years ago, I sat up all night as our aged dog considered whether she should see the new year in or not ... she just made it. It's hard - but all who love animals have been through this; all who love humans have been or will go through it, too! Not much consolation, but - you're not alone.
Ah that's great news Jen, hope Nelly's as comfortable as she can be x
Jen I'm so sorry to read about your lovely Nellie, but very glad that she is now improving and does not need surgery. I wish her the best recovery she can make.
Don’t forget the past, learn from it. Happy New Year.
