Seems to be the fashion in art now
Damian Lechozest - super realism doesn't appeal to everyone but the skill needed to produce work like this has to be appreciated, incredible.
I admire super realism too, I don't attempt it...don't think I could do it. Some more I like... Not paintings, but art non-the less, I like these ceramics...
Yes, super realism stands up against looser work in my view. About fifty fifty. They stand the test of time if done right
Super realism doesn’t get much better than this - Kevin Okafor’s pencil portrait of John Lennon.

This is a sculptor artist on a whole new realism level - Ron Mueck - I have seen his work many times it is mind blowing
The head is excellent
Kevin Okafor's work is amazing. This is a portrait of 'Catrin Pugh' from Wrexham who suffered horrendous burns in a coach crash. She is truly an inspiration to the human spirit.
Some astonishing work on display. A different take on Jane Eyre... A modern  painting using Klimt style background...by Walter Girotto... Another work by Vania Comoretti... One that appeals to me...
I am really enjoying being introduced to all these artists, thanks everyone for keeping on sharing.
