in addition to posting your own work Lewis, Pinterest is an excellent research tool. The more stuff you look at the more accurate the “you like this so you’ll also like this” will be. Pinterest has helped enormously in my finding different directions to explore in my own work.

Yes John, I'm a fan of Pinterest, chiefly of illustration and drawing, and the site has guided me to some fascinating artists I knew nothing about. Whilst I don't copy what I see, it has influence (I hope) and inspiration. So I do appreciate the people who post these boards of art. Many are posting their own art. That's what I've done. It just seems a bit odd at the moment, there's no reaction as such...or place for it as far as I can see. Effectively, I've filed some pics on Pinterest, not much difference (as far as interaction goes), as 'filing' them under my bed. But, early days yet, my view may change.
