Double A3 Moleskine watercolour pad .  Inktense pencil.  This is from a photograph taken by a neighbour when on holiday  in Pembrokeshire .( with permission)  this is just going to be a try out for an acrylic painting. I wonder if LS Lowry would have approved. I met him when I was a student at Rochdale Art College in the mid fifties .  He looked at a life drawing of mine and made a harrumph sort of noise.

It looking really good Sylvia. His noise probably was a approval.

Even being harrumphed at by Lowry is an achievement of sorts..... I like your gannets: it's the one sea-bird that I think we don't get on the Isle of Wight.  But then, we didn't used to get ravens, either, and do now: so there's hope..
Still away to go Robert.  Yes Lowry was a mate of our principal Leopold Solomon it was before his fame and he was still a rent collector in Salford.   There was a small gallery in Rochdale and I remember a self portrait of him in there which was nothing like his later work.  . I still wish I had asked him to " show me how " ...then add his signature .
Looking good Sylvia! Full of energy.
Now the fun begins.  Have used Inktense  so far now am going to use watercolour....well I think I am.  I want to create a watery background.  But have a horrid thought that the Inktense will go berserk.
