A short time ago, here on the forum several of us were bemoaning the fact that our paintings took up so much room and how did we store them.
I have just rediscovered one….its on the gallery Twas sold years ago. I found its photograph in my files. I would love to see it once more ,the original. Several memories of long gone paintings appear….they are a bit like children and are still attached somehow, even the one I bought on EBay that someone had found in a skip….now back on my wall .

We invest a lot of time and effort into our paintings so I’m not surprised that we get a bit attached to then some more than others. That was very lucky Sylvia to see your painting on face book and be able to buy it back , now it’s home where it’s loved and cared for. I haven’t sold lot and lots of paintings but have given them to friends and family I sometimes wonder if they still have them and where they hang now , I suspect that the bought ones tend to be valued more than the given one or am I being unfair.
