"Focus on Still Life", Elena  Parashko (page 40) Looking at the painting and the photo it was based on, M/s Parashko seems to have moved while painting the objects. The viewing point of the samovar and the other objects is not the same, the elipse on the pattern of the samovar seems wrong. I felt this even before comparing the painting and the photo. Does anyone else think the same?
Possibly Marjorie, my only issue is the elipse on the top of the samovar and the painted band around it. It just isn’t quite right is it?  I don’t expect that many would notice, but it isn’t right - well spotted! Certainly a complicated and detailed still life for the average LP reader I would have thought!
