HI,
I don't often post here but this caught my eye. I'm not sure what I think about Emin's painting and it's significance. First impression is that it's a bit spooky.
I do like this artist and for someone born in 16th century I think she's an inspiration... apologies if her work has been previously discussed. Sorry if the image is somewhat oversized.

Cordelia, yes, Artemesia has been a subject on the forum - quite a while ago. She certainly was an amazing strong woman , given what she went through and stood up against - as well as being a superb artist. I’ve seen a programme or two about her ( can’t remember which channel ) which were excellent.
