Peter, 🤦‍♀️ Tessa, I’ve got canvases that have been gessoed twice….and there’s another one waiting in the wings. Sandra, I find abstracts hard to plan, they’re not easy at times and you can loose your way. Mine evolve as I paint them. I have an idea in my head of what I want to do, then I get stuck and don’t know how to get there. This is what happened with this one, so it’s languishing in the bin, it was only on paper, had it been a canvas the gesso pot would have come out. However, it already had that much paint on, it was beginning to look like a muddy field. I think it’s good sometimes to actually show your disasters.

I agree Ellen there comes a time when it the Bin ad nothing will recover it. As to showing your disasters occasionally, I do it regularly well at least once a week when I post my paintings.
