A friend from art group has acquired a new iPad and has asked what programmes anyone would recommend. I’ve never tried digital so am not the person to ask, but know there will be those among you who will have helpful suggestions! I know that she usually paints in acrylic , mainly landscapes and quite colourful, so assume she’s looking for something useable for that. Over to you folks! Thanks Tessa

I've got a few. Don't use them much now. An easy one is I pastels - it was free when I got it, not now I don't think, but won't cost much.

Thanks Marjorie. I will pass on.  I’m assuming she will want something fairly easy to use for a beginner. Hopefully there will be some other recommendations.

I use Procreate.  It’s capable of much much more than I ever use it for.
