Most people are well intentioned but if you’ve never had real depression then I don’t think you know how it feels. Just like cancer, if you’ve never had it (and I have) , then you can’t know how it feels. People don’t always say the right thing….there are misunderstandings, I think there have been some in this instance. The important thing is that we are empathetic - I hope and think that we are.

I’m surprised at the moderators. You’ve all been on. Makes no sense. I don’t know any of you, nor have I ever done you a wrong.  So, let that be known. I have been watching this thread and decided that I would leave it to see how it developed , last time I removed a thread coincidentally on a similar topic I was given a very hard time . However as Martin has requested it be left then I shall do so but I will lock this thread as it’s gone far enough and startIng to become far to personal.  I apologise in advance if I upset anyone by locking this  but I do think it’s time to do so .
