Hello there all you new posters, asking for advice and info on your work and paintings. Where are you.? Please be courteous enough to reply or appreciate the effort others have made on your behalf to answer your queries . Communication is a two way street.
Just spotted this Sylvia, and I couldn't agree more. Just written a paragraph on the subject myself on a thread from a few days ago. Myself, along with many others, do try their best to help, but we never get a response quite a lot of the time, It's just not good enough!
Lack of response or appreciation seems to be quite common today, in many situations.
I sometimes think the OP drifts into the forum, posts a question then drifts out forgetting they ever asked the question. A type of surfing almost. I myself have occassionaly found a forum of interest, tried to register only to find that I already AM registered...I joined three or four years ago! Its a funny world, the tinterweb. David
I spend a lot of time on my replies when people ask for help or critique (well usually), only to find that they go unanswered, along with everyone else who took the trouble. That's it for me now. Any new poster that I don't recognise will be given a wide berth, I have much better things to do with my time than spend it on trying to help these ignorant individuals.
