Can anyone recommend a battery operated hair dryer to use with watercolour or acrylics when painting au plain air?

Nothing I ever use , e bay and Amazon have a selection.   I woukd be more inclined to have two pics on the go.  One dries whilst you paint the other one, much cheaper and more productive.  Lol .

Do you really need to dry watercolour en plein air?  Won't the atmospheric conditions outside do that for you?  Well, apparently not, or you wouldn't ask.  Unfortunately, I don't know of any battery-operated hair-dryer that's really likely to work better than the plein air you happen to be in at the time.

I’ve not heard of any of the artists that I know carrying a hair dryer on a plein air painting expedition! There’s so many other essential materials to carry, absolutely the fresh air will make a better and cheaper alternative!
