Thought you might all like a heads-up for a new art programme on BBC4 next week. Lachlan Goudie looks at the art of industrial Britain - sounds interesting! Tuesday 29th August at 9pm - be good to hear what you think.

Putting the presenter aside, I do love industrial landscapes, they can make really interesting paintings so I have put it on to record in case I'm out. I'm hoping that it will inspire me somewhat, I need inspiration badly at the moment.

I'm with Alan on this, my liking of industrial scenes will outweigh any reservations about the presenter so I will look out for the programme.

I'm a huge fan of Lachlan and I think he makes a terrific TV presenter - plus the more programmes about art the better I say! Look forward to watching this one.

I'm looking forward to it too. I like his art, and industrial landscapes fascinate me. I've seen some of the drawings / photos from his travels for the series and he visits some interesting places. Will set this to record.
