The other day - and I'm afraid I'd probably had more to drink that I should have had - I made a very stupid and hostile comment on David's painting on the gallery. For reasons which would be too complex (and probably boring) to go into, it triggered me; very badly.
I've apologized to him on his post - and need to repeat that here. I let my feelings about something quite irrelevant to him get the better of me: it was in no way his fault, it was my very subjective response to a depiction of violence, and reminded me of a scene I had witnessed.
I repeat: I'm sorry. It was stupid, unreflecting, and unreasonable.
