Well Peter, I just looked at your bio page and it seems you can turn your brushes to more or less any subject. Then suddenly into my head leapt a three tier wedding cake! No idea where that came from or why but…over to you.

Ok Marjorie. I did try some painting earlier but my usually chilly studio/small bedroom was too uncomfortably hot. I will have a go later or tomorrow.

Aircraft hanger started Marjorie but it's too hot to complete today. I'll finish it later in the week when it's a bit cooler. Working in graphite. HB-6B.

Well that's different Tessa - leave it with me! My paint was drying today before I could get it onto the canvas, barmy conditions for May. My sister is sitting on a beach in Malta where is is 23 degrees with a lovely sea breeze as she delighted in telling me.

Peter, you're painting is great, I thought it was a picture until I zoomed in, when viewing on my phone. Excellent. I've started the, Renoir, challenge, too hot for oil pastels so have used watercolour. I'll finish it tomorrow. I've tried to achieve Renoir meets Disco.   Thankyou, Tessa for taking up my challenge. This is a 'bobby dazzler' piece of art, I love it.

Got this challenge finished, it's as near to Renoir as I'm ever going to get. Renoir mees Disco :/

I’m getting on with it Marjorie ……honest……sketching out stage done, hope to get the blocking in done today. I do have a good excuse, it’s the greenhouse’s time of year! Everyone is doing super work on these challenges!
