That's GOOD  - not  that this is any surprise to  me, but you've produced a work which is neither sickly sentimental nor so academic that it might be devoid of character.  I'm afraid I do not encourage mice in the house - went  through months of trapping them humanely, and releasing them outside; but  - they kept coming back; and more terminal methods had to be employed.  Still wish I hadn't had to, and console myself that they were house mice rather than field mice.  But your mouse is safe from my attentions, thankfully.

Well it’s spectacular Russell! I’ve just used one in a veggie Indian meal, so it.’s very versatile - as a Still Life and as a great ingredient. And thanks for taking part! Hope you’ve put it on the gallery….you look a bit grumpy in your avatar next to that cauli, ha ha! You haven’t put it on the gallery! Get it on!

I’m off to art group this morning 10-12 with a bunch of pens, pad and a blank head! No paints as the weather is dreary and don’t want to take oils etc. Anyone feel like giving me a quick challenge please? I will check when I get there! X

So a teapot had to make do instead of a coffee cup, and yes it was a slightly odd shape! Nice to do something different, thanks again Carol for the idea, sort of!

Good you found an item to paint, Tessa. Look forward to seeing your teapot. I'll have a search into the deepest recesses of the cupboard and dig out a coffeepot for my self inflicted challenge :)
