That is super Denise....
I hope you don't mind me having a go Marjorie.  It's very messy.  I'm not used to this painting malarky - I've been mostly doing portrait and figure drawing for more than 2 years.  I used inktense paint pans and it looks quite bright but it's not nearly so vibrant on paper (and in artificial light).  If you've ever used inktense you'll know the colour comes out completely different on paper.

The more the merrier Janis - I’ve just seen it on the gallery and commented. I think I’m going to get my pen and paints out - not tried them for a while. Thanks for having a go!
I had a quick go at the photo of your lovely garden in art group today, inktense pencils, ink and white gel pen x
Here's my try Marjorie, acrylics on canvas. Peter

What a pretty Garden Marjorie ! I will have a shot with line and wash
Well done Katy and Peter! That looks like an absorbing morning Katy. Peter, there’s a lot of work there, you managed those greens well! And neither one looks choc box!
Thank you Marjorie, it’s fascinating to see the different approaches and how we all see things differently. I haven’t seen your own painting yet, I’ll have to have a look back!
Everyone is doing a fine job and it must be lots of fun Marjorie, seeing how we all have different perspectives of your garden.
It's fascinating to see how differently people react to the same photograph. I really enjoyed it, it's not something I would normally paint. I'm off to add the weeds to the paving..................... Peter
Here’s another version Marjorie!
I can tell Gillian give it a going over with the weed killer first. Nice job Gillian.
