Things botanical are of interest to me, I did have a look to see what was involved. I too, thankyou for the delete button.
With Sarah, Phil, Ellen, Rose the dentist, and the granddaughter whose name I forget.

They probably think they just can't win with this lot - but I would urge them to reflect on the suggestion that because you CAN do something, it doesn't mean that you should.

Good point Robert. On the plus side folks I just looked and the last day for entry is 29th May, so not much longer, although of course they may have another one lined up!

Admittedly the avert is much over sized but there is a positive side. The offer to show one’s botanical skills, and win a price, Competitions which have been asked for, and here is one. It’s not all negative.

On second thought Botanical art is a very, very specialised area of art. Taking months to do, and you cannot just suddenly jump into the medium, takes much practice and skill. So really it’s a competition for the botanicals. We do not have many or any of those do we posting in the gallery. So I can understand the irritation.

The most annoying thing is that it appears every time you change pages that you are looking at. If it was once when you  Logged in , no problem. I think whoever set it up was over zealous and probably hasn’t seen our comments.
