<div>Regarding Marion Dutton....I occasionally comment on her work because it is very good and can act as a stimulus to less proficient artists (myself included) The advertising aspect I ignore, just thoroughly enjoy seeing her work. Dare I say "Live and let live?!!" </div>

You do have a very valid point Ruth and it does make me seem as if I am being petty. I just don't want timid artists being put off of coming on to the gallery because it has become a professional advertising site. I have already noticed another couple of newish artists advertising. Anyhow only my opinion!

I would have thought the 'gallery' is there to promote your work to your peers really. To obtain feedback not to sell to other artists?! What's the point of that....
