Current exhibition at the Mall Galleries. I am impressed that this piece is in watercolour.  Clever work. I haven't finished browsing the rest of the exhibition. https://buyart.mallgalleries.org.uk/ri-2026/016-black-and-white/

Lovely!
That is beautiful!
I agree Norrette, clever composition. I went to see the exhibition yesterday and it really was inspiring. So varied and I found the use of different substrates very interesting. For eg layers of tissue paper, mirror and acrylic panel and cardboard box Julie Cross was demonstrating in the gallery which was fantastic, wonderful to see her method of working.
Norette,  I agree with you, clever composition.  I went to see the exhibition couple of days ago and it was very inspiring. Very varied and interesting to see the different use of substrates, including cardboard, layers of tissue and mirror(tried to add links here, not sure what I did but comment was removed, think it must've violated rules). I was lucky to see Julie Cross's demonstration in the gallery, wonderful to see her method of working.
Well some clever moderator has restored it: not  I, as I didn't see it.  On the whole, links do tend to get deleted, largely because they so often link to dodgy websites; and I think the software installed by the site owners automatically removes posts with links.   All beyond me, as I've forgotten how to insert them in the first place   ... but you might be able to avoid automatic deletion by using the full address, by which I probably mean URL.
Hi Anjana, I missed the demo, it sounds good.  I had to wait in for delayed deliveries this week, and I'm not even sure if I'll get along the the Mall for this exhib. I do wish they'd go on a bit longer.  Clash with gardening this time of the year.  Making hay etc...

I took the liberty of restoring it Robert, I did think that it was fine for publication.
Indeed it was - sound decision.
Thanks for restoring my comment Alan :-)
