I know this is a long way from most of us, but I post it as much as a form of congratulation and pleasure in achievement as anything else.
Our friend Pratim Das has been invited to show his bird paintings at the Uttar Pradesh Bird Fair, from the 4th to the 6th of December. He'll be showing 100 of his paintings of birds from all over the world.
Let us hope this is the start of even better times for Pratim, who has more energy and ambition in his ear lobe than I have in my whole body...
