I am thinking of having a one day, make me an offer sale at my house.
Being quite prolific of late, I have amassed a large collection all in my new style which hasn't been seen in public. I have had a lot of local buyers in the past from art group shows. Apart from selecting what I think the best works, maybe 6 in this new style which would be framed and entered in local exhibitions, the images will be presented raw, uncropped, not mounted or framed.
Some buyers, if any, will get the Bogofs.
I would probably charge a miimum of £15 per piece, with £5 of that going to a as yet undecided charity.
Local press would be notified and I would place a notice outside the house.
Worth doing so you think - thoughts? Any previous experience of similar events would be appreciated.

Good idea Derek. At £15 upwards,your pictures should fly. Some years ago I bought a lovely flower watercolour for £15 in a thin polythene throwaway envelope(which enhanced the painting NB ) andI snapped it up before anyone saw it. it was a real bargain and I bought a frame to suit my own personal taste and what you offer is good considering this.
