This is pencil on A1 cartridge paper . My 19 year old G daughter is just finishing this off...almost there. It is a commission for a guy who has another 7 Dogs Lol. I’m not a fan of hyperrealism but I think she has approached this very cleverly . Yes she has used a photograph but beyond eye and hand co ordination that is all. The rest is pure talent and observation... go on . let me do some granny boasting.

I'd call that accurate drawing rather than hyper-realism, and more to the point she's captured the character of the big, daft dog! Lovely drawing, you've every right to boast.
