This site is not for commercial advertising. Laura.
Why would the average artist need a Photoshop editing service. And why would we go to an offshore company and not a local Repro house - get real!
Offshore companies are a no no ALWAYS, as far as I'm concerned.
I did look up this company and to be fair they have a couple of offices in the UK.  But I agree with Sylvia, this is not a forum for free commercial advertising.  Taking up Alan's point I don't think I would buy a painting if I had not seen the real thing first, but the "For Sale' aspect of the new site does suggest there are people willing to buy art based solely upon a photograph, but would you do so if you knew the image had been heavily manipulated?  Better to take the time and make the effort to get a decent photograph in the first place.  As for the rest of us, well myself at least, my paintings are far from perfect and no amount of photo manipulation would make them anything else.
Tony, as for having offices in this country...it's where the headquarters are that matters, no?
I think, Marjorie, the spelling of 'Center' rather gave the game away.  But we should be magnanimous.  I notice the lady who posted this topic has yet to upload any artwork, but I am sure when she does it will be as close to the original as photographically possible.  Of course one is also tempted to wonder if she joined the site solely for the purposes of some free advertising.  That would not be the best advert for the company, suggesting that there is insufficient demand for their services to generate enough income for a paid advert on The Artist and/or Leisure Painter.
I’ll take a bet that she won’t be posting anything. It’s pure advertising!

And you, Joseph Offshore - your first post includes an embedded Spam link.
Ah Mr Offshore, I am finding it difficult to see any painting or artistic merit in your posting.  Have you noticed the name of this site is Painters Online, not 'free advertising site' or 'photoshop users forum' . Whether you are advertising your blog or your services, your curious use of English and strange grammar suggest a lack of attention to detail.  Not a good advert for your professional services, not that your advert has any place on this site.
I’ve reported this guy to Dawn and he’s being monitored as to his content. It’s clearly commercial in my view, and totally irrelevant to this site! His photograph posting on the gallery this morning has now been deleted.
