Although I've been painting for years, I'm fairly new to the plein air scene, which, frankly isn't much of a scene here, where I live. Plein air is a direction I really want to explore more. My biggest obstacle is just feeling nervous in public. But there is also the whole thing of what to take with you when you go out. I'd love to hear how others cope. Favorite art materials? Expense saving innovations?
