This weekends bonus artist is Frank Sherwin , 1896 -1986. He painted mainly landscapes , a produce posters for most of the railway companies. Enjoy his work , be interesting to have your views  .

I do like his posters Dixie, and these are a few others I found that I liked. The one is quite different, not sure if he did many more like this. And I don’t know how the one shrunk so!

He could and did turn his hand to many different styles - a very versatile artist.   I like all of these paintings, even though they're all totally different; my favourites here are the top two, and the bottom one.   The railway posters are very fine (and there are serious collectors of these) but I prefer his more free work. A good long life, too - many artists manage to get to 90 plus - hope for all of us!
