Such a crime to be popular and dare I say commercial. The 'art world' is full of pseudo intellectuals sadly. Jack Vettriano suffered the same fate but hopefully scoffed at them all the way to the bank!
The first one of the last batch that Lew posted is my all time favourite of his amazing artwork. This week I’m featuring an Irish artist  I recently discovered, just adore her landscapes , I’ve cut and pasted the bio as I’m currently having some problems with my eyes .
There's a gentleness to these landscapes.  Looking at her works on line, it is clear, it is clear she works a lot in the same area; the shapes of the mountains start to become familiar even if the angle and the focus changes - no two. days the same one might say.  Here are a couple that caught my eye.
David Shepherd was wonderful. If the critics hate you it's always a good sign!
Tony you are correct in your observation , she paints  in and around the same area, in different weather and seasons etc , why not if your good at what you do and there is so much opportunity for variety etc . A few more of her superb landscapes , I’m really enjoying her work such beautiful landscapes.

Splendid work Dixie and what a landscape to live and paint in.
