Amuses me that he is often seen painting with one hand in his pocket. So, so casual.
I like his portraits, as with all artists, some more than others.  I'm less impressed with his landscapes.  The Queen/Duke painting is poor.  This reminds me that artists are not machines, we can all have off-days, whatever our standard.  So I remain an admirer of his portraits.  Here's a good one (I think)...

He certainly doesn’t flatscreen his sitters ,  I saved the one I thing is particularly good till last . 
Some of his work appeals to me, some leaves me cold.  Here is something completely different - were it not on his website I would never have thought he was the artist.
