Peter Greenham. Beautiful reds in portraits. Beautiful rendition of hands in portraits.
I love subdued understated colours.
"Dullness". Does humidity create a film through which we see colours in this country? I think Victorian architects tried to fight this greyness or "dullness" , which can be exquisite, by using (overusing) red brick and red roof tiles.

I think his figures are superb, such great observation and a little quirky. I can see in his work the influence of Bawden and Nash both of whom I like. I could choose more but will let someone else have a dip!




Then a couple of designs which are very familiar. Perhaps not “art” but simple and eye catching.
And one which made me chuckle.
