You've had a lot of posts marked as spam even though they're clearly  not.  Have you now been able to post everything you wanted to?  If so, I'll just mark the removed post as resolved.  If not, it may be necessary to restore those posts.   I'll  leave it for a while, just to be sure, since it seems you've managed, or another moderator has helped you to manage, to restore the posts yourself.  But if any are missing, let me know. I suppose it's good to know they're on the case, but - at the same time, some things do get removed without good reason.
Looking back, I think you've managed to restore all the images you've posted?   If so, well done to you or the moderator who helped you resolve it. And no, Tunnicliffe didn't use a camera, and worked from personal observation and sometimes from dissection of dead examples - which I should call pure genius, since he recorded some of the most beautiful and accurate impressions of Britain's fauna (and flora, come to that - but at least flowers stayed still for him...).
Thank you for the introduction John , sorry I haven’t commented soon just arrived home from a day out , can’t use the keyboard my phone as it’s so small. I will look through his work and pick out some I like tomorrow and post them .
Paul, you're lucky if you can even SEE the keyboard on your phone: I can't!    I hate old age.......  I really do....
Thank you Robert, if you can remove the ugly bits on the thread please do. I was at fault trying to load the images. By the way there are some good things about being a senior I am sure. Think on them and drown the rest.  Thank you Paul, the buttons are made for kids hands.

An impressive artist.  The standout pictures in John's selection for me are the mono of the shire horse, and the French Bulldog (??..not into dog breeds).  But I admire all the work on show. A few more. I think many of the monochromes are wood engravings.  He produced such a wealth of outstanding work, we’re spoilt for choice.

Thanks Lewis for the extras. Tunnicliffe was a master at the wood engraving.
I very much like his work, especially his wood engravings.  Will take a look at some more later.

I like his artwork and have done for a long time , I prefer his bird painting and sketches to those of Thorburn . I’ve selected some sketch’s as I find the really interesting, hope I haven’t duplicate any  already posted.
Thomas or Tom Clough 1867-1943  was an English landscape artist born in Bolton Lancashire he was the son of a weaver, Tom initially worked as a lithographic printer in a law office. After a short spell as an insurance agent he ran a small drapery business in the town . He started landscaping painting in the 1890s and moved to Glan in Conway North Wales where he painted many of his best known works, he also spent time painting in Cornwall, Devon , Northern France and Italy. I hope you enjoy his work , it’s much of it’s time and like many artists he painted what sold , his work is of an excellent quality and really well painted.
I like this Paul. The second, third and last are my favourites. I also liked the previous artist's birds, haven't been online much over Easter.
I have to agree with Sandra.  There is something about the third and last examples of Mr Clough's work.  I am not sure about the first....I do like it but the sharp focus on the sheep seems out of place with his other works.
