Love the Gerhard Richter room Norrette. I've done as Paul asked and searched out a small selection from the POL gallery but unfortunately for some reason I can't get them into the right format to upload. I've sent him the details.
Small selection of abstracts from the POL gallery.  Decided to photograph them on my phone and email them to my computer, seeing I couldn't save them in the right format. There's plenty more lovely ones, search under "abstract". Vision, Val-Irene Robertson Coppiscus, Michael Edwards Circus Abstract, Alita Porter Red abstract, Teddi Coutts Abstract design, monoprint, Teddi Coutts
Just bringing this back up , Sandra added some POL artists work . I’ve not had chance to look in till today due to Christmas related activities etc, so please you picked up on it  Sandra and persevered despite the difficulties you had uploading the photos .
Just seen this…about Sandra’s probs uploading pics from the POL gallery.  It’s odd that when you save them (as I do in order to post them on the forum), the system only allows you to save them in WEBP format, not the JPEG format you need to post on the forum. I use a desktop computer which includes the free app PAINT.  This allows you to save files in different formats…including JPEG.  The procedure is, having saved the POL file as a WEBP (as you must), you right click on the saved WEBP file and choose ‘open with’, from the list it offers click on PAINT.  In PAINT, choose ‘save as’, and select JPEG. All  a bit long winded, as I found out when posting POL files on my pencil thread. I’m not tech enough to know how to do it on an iPhone or iPad.  But Sandra found a way.  I only mention this because she said she had a computer.
That was me attempting to explain how to convert files on my computer…the system didn’t like it.  I give up.
I’ve just reposted it Lew as it has been flagged up for the moderator’s attention, don’t know why . I think Sandra took a photo or save images to photos then and edited before reposting. I use that method when I can’t get a photo to upload.

Interesting re problems uploading images from the POL gallery to repost on the forum. I use an iPad and if I open an image on the gallery and choose ‘save to photos’ it goes to the photos section of my iPad as a .png image which is similar to a .jpg file and uploads to the forum with no problems.   Very occasionally the system throws up an invalid file response, but I think this more to do with a system glitch than the type of file, although if it persists you can get round it by doing a screen print from the gallery to your photos then cropping before uploading to the forum, although this does result in a bigger file size.  Haven’t tried uploading from my PC or iPhone, though.

Just tried your iPad tip Jenny… lot less messing about than my PC method.  Thanks.
It certainly works well , I’ve used this method for age’s certainly cuts out a lot of messing around.
Interesting. Lew's method used to work for me, but something has changed, and the option to save in another format, or edit into the required format, just does not appear, whatever I try to do. I don't have an iPad, work from a desktop PC, which is easier with the large screen and proper keyboard. I don't know what has changed. What I did in the end was photograph the images on the Gallery on my phone, and email them to the computer. I still want to know why the method my computer guy gave me previously which used to work, doesn't work now. I'll chase this up when he comes back from holiday, as he has remote access to my PC and might be able to look into it without coming out. However it's not something I have to do often.
