Wellcome to this weeks bonus Artist the artist  featured this week is Welsh Artist Pamela Jones .  Pamela lives in West Cross Mumbles Swansea and has painted as long as she cam remember. Her preferred medium is watercolour as she finds it serves landscape painting very well. Pamela draws hers inspiration from the landscape around her the Mumbles, Gower, Brecon Beacons , North and West Wales . She describes her style as slightly impressionistic and staying away from photographic copies of a scene . I hope you enjoy her excellent artwork.
Thought I would refresh this before it gets lost.
Some or more of her artwork it looks deceptively simple but I bet it’s not , I don’t know why  but I find it pleasing and relaxing to look at .

As you say, it looks simple but…….  It makes you think, I could do that, but you know if you tried it would not be so simple, elegant, peaceful or pleasing on the eye.
It's very illustrative I can see it in  a child's  storybook.  A lot of scenes I know well and beautifully painted.  BUT it's a bit too pretty for my taste.  Because I know the area well I know the colours and the atmosphere of the place .  These could be any hot European country.  . Not Wales. Though interesting to look at thanks Dixie.
I think I agree with you Sylvia.
