Welcome to this weekends  bonus artist this weekend the featuring Artist is Douglas Treasure 1917- 1995. Douglas was a South African who trained at Port Elizabeth School of Art. His professional career included extensive experience as a illustrator, designer, a visualiser and finally director of art for a major company. Durin this time his love of watercolour landscape painting flourished and in 1973 he retired from advertising in order to become a full time professional artist. Another one of the many artists I have come across whilst researching for the thread, I hope you enjoy his artwork and I look forward to hearing you comments and views of his artwork.
And another artist I'd never encountered before - well trawled.
Thanks Robert, he is rather good isn’t he. A few more from the many on the internet.
Another interesting artist, Paul.  I especially like his paintings which include buildings, like the second one you’ve posted above and these.  Lovely sense of light.

I like very much the third and fourth of Dixie’s first batch, and the first of Jenny’s above. He paints great light doesn’t he? Here are a few more I picked out.  I do like his painting of buildings through the trees.
What a great sense of light ,colour and movement.  Super choice . Thanks.
