They're all brilliant, but none can surpass Chris Riddell's The Unbearable Tightness of Peeing.  Don't ask me why I'd think that.
Last one from me. Not sure if he has been mentioned on one of the threads before. Chris Wormell. I spotted his amazing wood engravings whilst reading Philip Pullman’s Book of Dust series:
I love the work of George Mackley, both his wood engravings (especially the one Paul has posted (fourth down) of the farm horses) and the style and colour of his paintings.  A couple more.

I’ve always been fascinated by Beardsley’s work. His intricate line art and bold use of black and white just pull you in. I remember first seeing his illustrations in an old edition of Oscar Wilde’s *Salome*, and it completely changed how I viewed book art. It’s amazing how he could convey so much with such minimalism. If you’re into that style, have you checked out Harry Clarke’s work? He’s got that same dark, detailed vibe.
What a fantastic selection. I like them all, had not heard of all, but the beach drawing by Helen Craig is particularly crazy and good! I also remember my dad getting the Giles cartoon book every Christmas, and all of us ploughing through it. I haven’t had a chance to pick anything but did remember this from a wonderful book which I recommend to anyone interested in the English countryside, old ways, and saving the planet!

If you're diving into research or just need some help with academic papers, I found https://edubirdie.com/pay-for-research-papers quite handy. They offer support that can really save time and effort. For me having a helping hand makes a big difference, especially when juggling multiple interests and responsibilities.

I’ve always been inspired by book illustrators, especially after reading a beautifully illustrated version of Alice in Wonderland* It made me think about the power of visuals in storytelling.
