Lewis, I did a Google search on the one that looked like it might be a Kandinsky and it gave this result. I hadn’t seen da Silva’s work before either, and do find the different styles a bit confusing, will have a look at some more of her work later.

I AM familiar with Miró's work - and love it.  Fabulous use of colour.
Ah well, caught out by the vagaries of the Internet again.  The image title started with Da Silva, and was part of a search for her work.  It got my attention because it was so different and had the word 'after' in the file name, I'd imagined she'd done something in the style of another artist.  It was different because it WASN'T her work.  Wrong again.  Not for the first, or last, time. I hope the others are OK.
Looks like this one might be by a different artist as well, internet searches on an artist can be very misleading at times.
Thanks for your in-depth introduction Martin , an artist wasn’t aware of before you suggested it . I do like the first two that you posted Martin , unfortunately the others don’t appeal to me , I also like the ones that Lew posted. I think I tend to go for the ones that have a more prominent pattern and recognisable shapes etc, I do admire the skills used to achieve the finished painting and I good to look at different styles of artwork.
Lew I fall into the trap on a regular basis and often post works that are attributed to a rant to find out I’m wrong. Fortunately Jenny keeps me on track most of the time , I would be totally lost without her guidance.
Paul,  I just use Google Reverse Image search to check paintings that may look different in style - it’s very quick and easy to use.
Maybe we'd better disregard my post, I'd thought she was experimenting.  I'm not familiar with her work.  Anyway, let's get off my faux pas and get back to the featured artist.
Just tuned in. I do like da Silva, I felt a feeling of excitement just looking at them…the intense colour and pattern. The second one brought to mind somewhere like Siena, a sense of a medieval city.
Had a further look at her work, most of it doesn’t really appeal to me, although I found this one interesting.

I quite like her work, especially the second, fourth and fifth of Martins selection. It’s certainly different, interesting in subject, colour and form.
I’m not a fan, but some of her work appeals because of the obvious technical effort that has gone into creating it, as per this from 1950 called ‘The Corridor’:
