Thanks Jenny , I think this started just before Christmas and sadly developed . Still it a new year and I’m feeling well enough to do some painting even if it’s in short bursts so that’s a positive. I do like her work in general but it doesn’t excite me nor do the prints but I find them far more viewable, possibly because I like Chinese and Japanese artwork.

A bit of a change unfortunately as there are two artist listed as Gerrard George Lants both born in 1927 one died in 1958 and the other died in 1998 . I have gone with the longer living of the two.
G G Lants born in Australia and was a well listed artist and student at the National Gallery Art School Melbourne.
He was known for his period style watercolour and paintings in oil. I have done my best to ensure that I attribute the paintings to the correct artist , a bit difficult as there is some overlap on google. I hope you enjoy the artwork.

I should describe his work as irreverent and cheerful - rather like Australia itself. I know I owe you a piece on Anne Toms, Dixie - but I'm not so good at just picking meself up and dusting meself down these days as I used to be. Also, as Anne is still alive and working, I'd rather like to have a word with her before doing this: she may have views on what she'd like, or not like, to be shown. Anyone really keen on seeing her work can of course Google her - she's out there: somewhere.

Just keep suggesting them Jenny if needs be I will spread them out. I feel the same as I often post artists but as long as people enjoy them I think it’s ok. I must admit thst I do like to have other people having a go and sharing their choice.
Four artists I’ve not come across before Jenny their work look superb, just had a sneak preview. Norman T I have know before love his horses , who doesn’t .
