I have over the past week had an image in my head that has driven me made , to the point of stopping what I was painting to get it painted in the hope of getting back to normal . The inspiration came from having a clear out of photos on my pad , I’m upgrading my phone because of need to to have the latest and I was told it will link with my iPad. This led to better get some photos cleared away , most of them are from scenes up in the woodland when I working and I think that looks good . Most of the photos go unused . Anyway this scenes came from that so I was inspired by junk photos , love to know what inspires others .
This is the basic layout of the scene and some colour added . I have never painted in the back ground first , but this was how it formed in my mind.

The finished painting , I will put it on the gallery later . It’s the first painting that I have felt contented with for a long time , there are no obvious things sticking out and if there are in ok with them. Enjoin painting it and feel quit relaxed now the the itch to paint it has been scratched. Don’t know where the layout came from , as it not any of my photos though inspired by looking through them , I do takes lots of photos when I’m working in the woods or out walking .
