Hello everyone,
I just wanted to say a proper hello - I've been posting my efforts for two years now and I take an interest in the forum but have never been quite brave enough to say anything! So here I am.
I think this site is a real gem and can see what a dedicated and supportive bunch you are. I don't tend to talk to anyone about my painting - it's probably a confidence thing - and I can honestly say that posting onto this site has helped me along no end. As you can see on my gallery, I am a landscape lover and will have a bash at most mediums. I try and paint every week - I work full time and I am rather good at procrastinating, but I do try!
I will visit the forum now and then if I may but if I don't I am still around listening and learning! So thanks a lot for that.

Hi Sarah, nice to meet you on the forum and most welcome you are . I have enjoyed you artwork over the last few years and look forward to seeing much more . Do join in the chats etc it’s always good to have more views and opinions, I don’t use any other forum and like most people on here it took a bit of time before I joined in .

Good to meet you, as it were.... I talk far too much, in my own humble opinion, in an attempt to keep the forum bubbling over: the more who contribute, the less the old stager element needs to fill in the gaps. Mind you, I doubt that'll stop some of us, including me. But I look forward to reading your future posts - always good to hear from painters about their progress, problems, opportunities, successes - and failures (well, maybe not "good" in the last case; but it can be very helpful when we have failures of our own). Get stuck in!
