Welcome to the site Laura, it's really good to have new blood. I'm sorry to hear of the problems you're having with the Gallery, I'm sure they'll get it sorted out. I like the portion of one of your paintings you're using as your portrait pic, looks very dramatic. I can see your Cornwall Summer Hike on the Gallery but can't comment yet, however I'll say here that I love it, and look forward to seeing more.

Thank you, Sandra, my icon is a mini soft pastel painting on dark pastel paper, a crescent moon over grassy hills. I love night scenes, I hope to practise them more. And many thanks, Alan!
