Since starting to fool around with oils, I've bin cleaning me brushes in Spirit Green, a low odour, brush cleaner. It has been doing the job, admirably. Their web site says that it is possible to strain the used cleaner through kitchen roll or cotton wool. I tried this tonight and the stuff still works as good as ever. we had to varnish the garden bench the other day, when the job was done I cleaned the new brush in the Spirit Green, and now it looks like it has never bin used.bestMick
