Re the wooden pegs that tap into the rear of the frame of canvases to stretch the canvas.
Does anybody do that using a white glue at the time of tapping - or - do people just tap the pegs as they come. I have done both but am never sure whether one way or the other is 'correct' or not. I have never removed a canvas from a frame once painted.
