I've never used a proper canvas to paint a picture, instead I paint on either primed MDF or on specially treated paper which Winsor and Newton sell in blocks.
I've been looking at the Great Art catalogue. It contains lots of different brands of paper designed for oil and acrylic paintings, most of which I've never seen in the shops in England.
What brand of oil/acrylic paper do forum members use and recommend ?
