I've just had a delivery of a pad of Daler Rowney MURANO pastel paper. Thirty sheets of A3, 6 neutral colours, 5 of each., white, buff, light bluey grey, a darker reddy grey, a mid-tone pink, and a mid tone green.
I don't like it, it is too coarse and the texture is too mechanical. If I had an art shop to buy it from I would never have parted with my money after seeing it;.
However there is no true art shop here so I have to buy on line. I will stick to Clairefontaine Pastelmat in future and just use the MURANO I have for fooling about, doodling what-have-you.
I'm sure some people like the stuff, but definitely not for me.
