Is anyone else encountering problems with the plastic screw caps on Michael Harding 40ml tubes? The caps on my Burnt Sienna and Cobalt \violet are both split and while they screw on they don't achieve a fully airtight seal because of the split.
No issues for me Peter, definitely have a word with them!
I seem to remember a note on their website or FB page that they'd had problems with their tube caps, and offered to replace defective ones.  Agree with Alan, speak to the company - we can do without expensive paint leaking away.
I had the same problem, many moons ago with Rowney's Cryla Artist range (yes that long ago, it was still just Rowney, and there was no instant emailing to the manufacturer).  I resorted to Araldite, which was an effective fix, though these days gorilla glue, or superglue is probably a little less messy.
Thanks guys, I'll try phoning Michael Harding before resorting to the glue option and will let you know what happens.
Moral to this story... keep a few old caps around! I’m confident MH will post a few out to you Peter.
After a long delay I finally got round to contacting Michael Harding and went to their website for contact details where I found a notice that they had had a consignment of faulty caps and provided a simple form to fill in to obtain replacements. Have duly completed the form and await my replacements but if anyone is having similar problems it seems Michael Harding are on to it.
