The only place I could set up my oils easel was where a great shaduw was cast across the painting surface. I ordered a Daylight, clip on lamp from Jackson's, it came today. I have to say it is an excellent accessory, giving a good clear light and no shadow. I also bought a brush washer with a sealable lid, to avoid fumes if using turps or white spirit coming from a constantly open jar, I've gone for Spirit Green and so far it is doing a good job on the brushes. The washer has a perforated floor to keep the brushes out of the sludge that forms at the bottom of the container. It is better then what I remember of sloshing the brush about in a jar of white spirit.bestMick
