The last time I was in the Range, I bought a pack of Royal, hog, brushes. With my recent surge in oil painting I have at last got around to using them. Useless, after a couple of runs the bristles are sticking out this-way-and-that. The Winton brush, which has had the same use, is fine.This morning I have just taken delivery of some new Winton brushes from Jackson's, to replace the Royal, brushes that are now in the scrubbing section for scrubbing in base colour. The trouble is, I am now frightened to get my nice new brushes dirty.bestMick
