What's the biggest letdown with brushes? You pay a fortune for a sable brush and before you have used it very much, the point has been worn away to a rounded end. Here's a set of watercolour brushes that I can't fault. Jacksons own brand called "Studio Synthetic 505 Round", they point beautifully, they hold watercolour as well as a sable and they keep their lovely point. Furthermore they do not cost an arm and a leg. I used to use ProArte Connoisseur and they were good but I've gone completely over to the Jacksons now. Sorry to sound like an advert, I do not work for Jacksons, I just love their brushes. John
