Another recent purchase that along with Soraya French's book has not yet been exported via Ebay...
Mel's. usual approach is to buy cheaply read & digest and re-sell a book...
Kandinsky.."There is no art because art is free". Freedom is about having the backing to have a go at something and that includes being different with your artworks while staying within the comfort zone of your usual art-materials. just let your mind free and ignore that inner voice of reason...and who knows...?
Mel's. Amazon review: Laura Reiter is a regular contributor to 'The Artist'. This book was reviewed in the May 2010 edition. This book in addition to the standard introduction to colour theory, the mixing of colours & the obligatory introduction to artists' mediums etc. goes on to offer sound practical advice. This book should provide a sound motivation for any artist to have a go at being a painter of abstracts
