This book is written by Steve Allrich a USA painter who writes in a clear and concise way. The book contains step by step instruction diagrams so you can actually see the effects that are being described. The book also goes a step further by breaking down information so that you can understand what is being said.
Too many instructional books are vague in areas leaving the reader frustrated but this book leaves you with a fresh understanding of techniques even if you have learned them and applied them.
