I admire John Hammond's acrylic paintings and bought his Capturing Light in Acrylics for about £18 some years ago. When I looked on Amazon for another of his books I found Free Expression in Acrylics for around £1000 new - yes, a thousand pounds! Even a used copy is around £38. Can anyone tell me the reason for such exorbitant pricing?
